• Llandovery Cottage Hospital, Llanfair Road, Llandovery.  SA20 0LA.  An appointment can be made with their dental department on 01550 722200.

How can I access dental services in the Hywel Dda area for urgent dental care issues (Monday to Friday)?

For those residents of Hywel Dda Health Board who do not have a regular dentist and are suffering from a dental emergency, an appointment for urgent treatment can be obtained through the Health Board’s In-Hours Emergency Dental Service. To access the service please call 111. You will speak to a qualified dental nurse who will triage your symptoms and provide pain management advice. If appropriate the nurse will provide you with a service access code. You will then need to call the emergency access booking line 01267 229692 (8.45am – 4.00pm), to arrange an appointment. Where possible we will try to offer an appointment at a convenient time and location.

How can I access urgent dental care (Saturday and Sunday)? 

For those residents of Hywel Dda Health Board who do not have a regular dentist and are suffering from a dental emergency, an appointment for urgent treatment can be obtained through the Health Board’s Out-Of-Hours Emergency Dental Service. To access the service please call 111.

Home visits for dental care are available for those residents unable to leave their home. Please note this is a referral only service, please contact Dental Services 01267 229692 (8.45am – 4.00pm), for further advice.
